WOW what a month!

Are we absolutely sure there is only 24 hours in a day? Sometimes I wonder if I'm being sort changed somehow. I have started three new stories but can't decide what to do with any of them. Any one have tips on how to break writers block?

The Counterfeit Convert has received some great reviews! I've posted a few of them below.

So everyone likes to win free stuff, Right? Add in a little competition and things really get interesting. In the counterfeit Convert Tristan tries to get Rachel to marry him so he can take her money and run. Rachel has to be married by the time she turns 25 in order to gain her inheritance. Drop me an email at lindachadwick@comcast.net and share with me what you would do with a million dollars and why. I'll have my 5 kids help me decide what we think are the 10 best and put them in a drawing.

I won this in a giveaway and really looked forward to receiving it. It was a cute story and a very quick read. The plot was simple and although predictable lets face it-I wouldn't haven't liked it to end any other way. I think if a non-Mormon were to read it they wouldn't realize how funny the author really is. I thought that the author was creative and it was funny to see Tristan's perspective of some things that make Mormons unique. The Counterfeit Convert is an incredible book written in what I fondly refer to as "Magical Manhattan". It is full of funny scenes, characters you love and relate to and of course the drama that only an LDS singles life can create!

This is a witty, light-hearted story of boy-meets-girl, but with a unique twist, intertwined with a more serious story-line, Tristan's conversion to the gospel. Anyone who has attended an L.D.S. singles ward will be able to relate to this story; it brought back fond memories of my singles ward days. I often found myself smiling and laughing out-loud as Tristan tried to win over Rachel while trying to figure out how to be "Mormon" all at the same time. I love this book! It reminded me of the reason I love to read. i laughed and cried, it gave me hope for love again(being recently divorced).Linda don't stop writing these kind of books,"Counterfeit Convert" was the escape I needed from my own problems. Thank you, I will enjoy recomending this book to many.

Is it spring yet? I dont know about everyone else, but I'm ready to see green grass and spring flowers! With the thought of spring on the way comes great news from my publisher, Cedar Fort. This book was SO captivating! I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved the plot line and the author wrote it in such a way that you could find some way to relate it was great!!

This book is very compelling about a family suffering from the recent death of their mother/wife. The father and the three children all have their own ways of coping with the death - most notably, the teenage son gets into a fight which leads to a brutal attack of retaliation. He is prescribed painkillers for broken ribs and other injuries and can't get off of them. The characters are believable and the situation heart-rending.

This book puts you right in the middle of an extreme family situation and keeps you there until the end - I felt like a part of this family by the time I finished the book. Nobody has the perfect family and this book shows just how flawed families are, but also how they can pull back together. PrP

This story is a heart wrenching depiction of what can happen if we lose track of priorities in life and let “things” become more important than the people we are supposed to love most in this world, our families. It almost too accurately depicts what can happen when we let anger and pride take over our hearts and how hard it is to humble ourselves and let others into our lives. Some of the situations were hard to read, mostly because I felt so much of the heartbreak that came from the loss of their wife and mother and the sorrow of both the children and the father over the time lost to a career. This is a good reminder to all of us that life is short and we need to make sure that we are embracing every minute we share with the ones we love. It also shows the struggles that ensue when one member of the family develops a drug addiction.The beauty of the book is that it shows how we can all get second chances in life, no matter what our mistake. We must be willing to humble ourselves and do whatever we need to do to show those who have been hurt, our Heavenly Father, and even ourselves, that we have truly changed. It is then that the miracles come. Hearts can be healed and lives can change forever from the second chances that come from the Atonement of our Savior.

Having seen some loved ones and friends go through addiction and rehab, I felt like Linda's portrayal of the pain and torment that addicts and their families suffer was accurate and powerful. I felt like she dealt with the issues and realities in a very honest way and gave us a story filled with emotion and reality, but hope and inspiration.

I love this time of year when all the kids get to dress up like anything in their imaginations.
